Milan Cortina Winter Olympics
Medal concept
Inspired by the architecture found in Milan and the vintage Olympic posters from the 1956 Winter Olympic Games, my concept for the medal has combined elements from many generations of design
The concept focuses on bringing the focus from the outside detailing into the Olympic rings in the centre using small details that fade out towards the centre. The change of texture increases the visual dynamic by highlighting the detailing and catching the light in a unique way
