Production
Printed on a robotic arm printer at Royal 3D in Rotterdam, I used PETG combined with 5% Red Masterbatch pellets to create the desired vibrant red.
The Yume lamp base was first CAD modelled in Rhino 8 and then parametrically modified in Grasshopper to create the weave texture. Printed in one 7hr print, the lamp weighs around 12kg and after some post processing to the top, fits the lamp shade and table lamp base.
Designed to mimic a tall tower, reminiscent of childhood fairytales and movies, the tall lamp leaves the impression of mystery and presence in your space.
